How to Use the Bulk Email Validator
To check if emails are valid before sending, paste or upload the list, run the validator and act on each status group.
- Paste one address per line, or upload a TXT, CSV or TSV file of up to 2 MB with a single Email column.
- Select Validate list; a progress bar counts the addresses, and Stop validation ends the run early.
- Review each row’s status: valid, risky, invalid or unknown, with the verdict and explanation beside it.
- Filter by status, export the rows as CSV and retry the unknown addresses before you send.
What the Email Validator Tool Checks
The email validator tool checks every address for syntax, a working domain mail route and risk signals, then sorts the results into four statuses.
Email Validation Rules
Each address goes through the same checks as the single Email Checker: supported syntax and length limits, an MX lookup with Null MX and A/AAAA fallback, and disposable, role and typo signals. Valid means correct syntax and a domain mail route. Risky means a warning signal, invalid means no route or bad syntax, and unknown means the DNS lookup failed.
Free Bulk Email Validator for 500 Addresses
The validator is free and needs no account, with a limit of 500 addresses per run. Up to six addresses are checked at the same time, and repeated domains reuse a DNS answer for 60 seconds. In a CSV with a header row, the column named Email is used and other contact columns are ignored.
Email List Validation and CSV Export
The results table lists email, status, verdict and explanation for every address. The status filter narrows both the table and the CSV export, so you can download only the valid rows or only the ones to review. The file is UTF-8 encoded for spreadsheet apps.
Email Validation vs Verification
Validation checks public information such as syntax and DNS, while a bulk email verifier also asks each receiving server about the mailbox. This tool performs validation.
| Check | What it shows | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Syntax validation | Address structure | Does not prove a mailbox exists |
| Domain validation | Public mail routing | Does not test the individual recipient |
| SMTP verification | Mail server response | Catch-all and temporary responses can remain ambiguous |
Frequently Asked Questions
What Does Email Validation Mean?
Email validation checks that an address is written correctly and that its domain publishes a mail route. It does not confirm that the mailbox exists or that the owner agreed to receive mail.
How Do Email Validators Work?
They parse each address, look up the domain in DNS and compare it with lists such as disposable providers. Paid verification services add an SMTP check with the receiving server, which a browser tool like this one cannot perform.
Is Email Verification Free?
Validation with this tool is free for up to 500 addresses per run, and lists can be split into several runs. Mailbox-level verification through SMTP is usually a paid service.
Why Are Valid Emails Going to Junk?
A valid address only means the message can be routed. Placement in the inbox or junk folder depends on sender authentication, reputation and content, so check SPF, DKIM and DMARC and review the message itself.
